About
I serve as Assistant Professor of Church History at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I teach courses in Church History and Baptist History at The College at Southeastern, the undergraduate program at SEBTS. My primary areas of interest are Southern Baptist history, seventeenth and eighteenth-century British Baptist History, American Religious History, especially 20th century fundamentalism and evangelicalism, and the history of missions. I have been married to the lovely Leah for over seven years, we have a beautiful little girl named Georgia, and we are expecting our second child in September. We are members of the First Baptist Church of Durham, North Carolina. We love books, movies, musicals, and sports, especially Georgia Bulldogs football and Atlanta Braves baseball.
